Welcome

Supported by a grant from the John Templeton Foundation, The University of Pennsylvania Positive Psychology Center has established the Positive Neuroscience Project to advance research at the intersection of neuroscience and positive psychology.

In 2009, the project announced the Templeton Positive Neuroscience Awards competition to recognize the highest standards of scientific excellence and identify future leaders in the new field of Positive Neuroscience.

We are pleased to announce the recipients of the Templeton Positive Neuroscience Awards. The winning projects will help us understand how the brain enables human flourishing. They explore a range of topics, from the biological bases of altruism to the effects of positive interventions on the brain. Click here to learn more about the award-winning projects.
